This is something I completed outside of class. While roaming through Layers Magazine [www.layersmagazine.com] I found several tutorials on how to create cool, everyday objects in Photoshop and Illustrator.
And honestly, who wouldn't like to know how to make your own digital/realistic iPod Nano. The possibilities are endless when you have the ambition to learn. I love to take a "basic" project and put my own flare to it.
In this case...I love Chris Brown (even after the Rhianna incident), I am a true fan. So I decided to use his album cover as it appears on my own iPod.
There were several techniques I had to implicate in order to produce the product above. They included: Mapping, Creating a Symbol, Extrude and Bevel, Revolve and Rotate, and Playing with the Ambient Lighting.
