This is a promotional flyer in search for the O Positive blood type; sponsored by BAE Systems and INOVA Blood Donor Service. The POC for this event was unhappy with the original and asked for it to be recreated using the same information similar text style and All American Summer logo.

School Daze Flyer

Reproduction of Spike Lee's classic movies "School Daze" in the form of a promotional flyer for a school sponsored event on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University.

Holiday Social

This project started out with a basic clip art image from Microsoft PowerPoint. The image was taken into Photoshop where I enhanced and changed the colors. Using the Magic Wand tool, I was able to take particular sections of the Bulbs and Calligraphic lines and add a gradient to them.
The white lines you see as a background in the original were changed to a darker blue color and the actual background was also changed to a darker gradient shade.
The image was then taken into Illustrator where it was set as a background and the opacity was changed to give it a "water mark" feel.
A rectangular box in the size of the art board was filled with a gradient shade to enhance the transparency of the original background image.
Text was then added given the appropriate event date, time, and information. A outer glow was added to give the effect of a winter-snow flurry and a double border was added for elegance with both an inner and outer glow.

Barber Business Card

This business card was created for a friend who is an up and coming Barber in Charlotte, NC. The Logo was taken off a public Internet domain and cropped and enhanced in Photoshop, then taken into Illustrator where the text was then put in.

The logo inspired by the Minstrel Show (A show in which the performers would dress in BLACK FACE OR BLACK MAKE-UP in a program usually of Negro songs, jokes, and impressions) was added for the aggressive marketing strategy of a no non-sense, no prejudgment, no playing, no joking around, no shuck'n & jiving black owned business. The No Grease! logo is a prime example of what was meant for evil was made into good, transforming a negative into a positive.

Monday Night Football

This is another Company Flyer for a Social event created strictly in Illustrator. The idea actually came from an Advertisement [below] for Pat's Pizza, it served as a template for my final product. I primarily used the pen tool as a tracing device which was very tedious; yet i found this as a way to gain more practice, I have learned that any image, text, or shape can be distorted using this tool. Everything was done by hand!

In addition, A football for each NFL team was created with the logo displayed on it. I created one football, edited the logos and created a layer for each. The footballs will be printed on 17x22 inch paper for decorating the conference room for the Monday Night Football Event
